From the 1st April 2017, following guidance from Greater Huddersfield CCG, Oaklands/Slaithwaite Health Centre will no longer be accepting requests for repeat medications on behalf of patients from Pharmacies. Therefore you must order prescriptions for yourself in a timely fashion and we would encourage you to sign up to this on-line. Please ask for more details

Named GP

Oaklands Health Centre would like to inform all of their patients that they have been allocated a Named Accountable GP.

Your Named Accountable GP will either be Dr Y. Shamsee or Dr J. Ward but you can see any other GP of your choice.

Sexual Health Clinic

Contraception and full sexual health screening now available at Oaklands Health Centre for men and women of all ages.

Offering any screening, advice and support you may require.

We can give sexual health advice, pregnancy testing, contraception and condom provision.

Please ring Oaklands Health Centre on 01484 689111 or enquire at reception to arrange an appointment visit.

Important Notice - Mail from the Practice

The practice has begun to use a company called DOCMAIL to deliver high quantity letters, i.e. flu invites. A number of practices within this area use this facility and we have attached some documents to reassure you that the company complies with the Data Protection Act.
